Swing gates
A swing gate hangs on hinges from a pillar or a post and opens like a door, as one leaf or as a pair.
What we fit
- Single and double swing gates.
- A laser-cut name or number panel, as on the gate below.
- A motor arm on each leaf, or a manual gate with a latch.
Good to know
A swing gate needs room to open and a driveway that does not rise into its path. Where there is no room, a sliding gate is usually the better choice.

How a job runs
- Site visit. We come out, measure, and look at the ground and the levels.
- Written quote. You get the price in writing, with the materials, finish and gate sizes listed.
- Fabrication. Gates and frames are made up in our George workshop to the sizes we measured.
- Installation. We set the posts, fit the panels and hang the gates, then test every gate before we leave.
We do not publish prices. Every job is measured and quoted in writing after the site visit.
