Sliding gates
A sliding gate runs sideways on a ground track. It needs no room to swing, so it suits a driveway where an opening gate would hit a slope or a parked car.
What we fit
- Mesh sliding gates that match a mesh fence.
- Bar gates, flat or arched, with spear tops and scroll work if you want them.
- A Centurion gate motor, or a manual gate with a lock.
Good to know
A sliding gate needs a clear run beside the opening that is as long as the gate, so it has somewhere to slide to. We check that when we come out to measure.
Our work
How a job runs
- Site visit. We come out, measure, and look at the ground and the levels.
- Written quote. You get the price in writing, with the materials, finish and gate sizes listed.
- Fabrication. Gates and frames are made up in our George workshop to the sizes we measured.
- Installation. We set the posts, fit the panels and hang the gates, then test every gate before we leave.
We do not publish prices. Every job is measured and quoted in writing after the site visit.
